This week, Lawndale Art Center announced the winners, out of 61 applicants, of its Artist Studio Program.
Seth Mittag, David Politzer and Anne Regan, y’all just made a heap of folks super jealous.
For the next nine months, each will work on an independent project that will be included in a May 2012 exhibit at Lawndale. The artist trio, as was previously reported, will receive 24-hour access to his/her own space, a $500 stipend each month and $1,500 to pay for supplies.
Video and installation artist Mittag and the sonic-focused Regan are University of Houston degree holders. Meanwhile, the photography-centric Politzer, who teaches at University of Houston, has posted up and made art all over the planet.
