Assassination in Jellystone

Holler if you wanna see Boo Boo shoot a resigned (and valuable) Yogi Bear in the back of the head with a shotgun inside a forest ranger station. That's what I thought.

This video started circulating yesterday afternoon on all the cool-kid websites like Film Drunk and Gorilla Mask, depicting the stars of the new Yogi Bear film locked in the ending scene from The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford. I guess I just spoiled Jesse James for you.

Anyhow, this is a tad graphic, only if you think CGI cartoons are real living things. Don't show it to the kids, but then again if you have children reading Art Attack, then they surely have already seen worse.

Next up for the spoof team? Well, the big-screen adaptation of The Smurfs is coming next summer, so we're expecting maybe to see Gargamel fuse some of the blue folks together Human Centipede-style. Reow-row-row-reowww!

Jesse James scene:

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
