Bacon Takedown

Think you're the bacon master? Prove it at today's Bacon Takedown. Twenty Houston cooks will each be given 15 pounds of Black Label Hormel bacon to create anything their little oink-oink hearts desire. We're talking bacon cupcakes, bacon candy, bacon cocktails, bacon cheesecake. Whatever they can think up, cook and serve, it's on. Spectators (a.k.a. walking bacon-eating machines) can try all the bacon creations and vote for their favorite. 4 p.m. Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel.
