The French-speaking theater group Et Voilà Théâtre is presenting Bal-Trap, a new play by Xavier Durringer. The bittersweet drama, true to its Gallic origins, concerns the ups and downs and ins and outs of the pursuit of love. “Bal-Trap is about the small choices we make every day and how they influence the outcome of our lives and, bit by bit, shape our world,” says director Josselin Legeay. It addresses the importance of putting what is important first: Love!” The cast includes Anne Anquetin, Valérie Gaskin, Ramdane Hamadi, Thierry Rignol and Olivier Winter.

Bal-Trap is presented in French with English surtitles. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Through November 15. Frenetic Theatre, 5102 Navigation. For information, call 281-901-0937 or visit $10 to $15.
