Barbara Ras One Hidden Stuff

Author Barbara Ras’s career got off to a good start — her first book of poetry, Bite Every Sorrow, won the Walt Whitman Award. That was 12 years ago. Her latest title, One Hidden Stuff, a collection of 41 new poems that has been described as having been written with “a zany and spacious cunning,” seems to be following the same vein of excellence. She reads from One Hidden Stuff today at 7 p.m. Brazos Bookstore, 2421 Bissonnet. For information, call 713-523-0701 or visit Free.
