Bayou Bend Family Day: African American Heritage Day

The manicured gardens of the former home of Houston socialite Miss Ima Hogg will make a lovely setting for today’s Bayou Bend Family Day: African-American Heritage. Talented African dancers and storytellers will perform for visitors, telling the story of black Americans from the time of slavery on through to today. 1 to 4:30 p.m. Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, 1 Westcott.
