But Not Goodbye

Get your holiday mojo going at Main Street Theater with George Seaton’s But Not Goodbye, a sweet family treat from the same guy who wrote and directed the film version of Miracle on 34th Street. The story follows Sam Griggs, a lost soul who dies before his time and leaves behind a family who must deal with the financial mess he made while still alive. Of course, this is the season of miracles. Sam’s long dead father shows up to help his newly deceased son figure things out. It’s a great Christmas show for anyone who’s sick of Scrooge. The show officially opens on Thursday, December 4, but you can catch it in previews 8 p.m. today and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 3. Regular showtimes after the opening are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Through December 28. 2540 Times. For information, call 713-524-6706 or visit www.mainstreettheater.com. $10 to $36.
Thursdays-Sundays; Wed., Dec. 3. Starts: Nov. 28. Continues through Dec. 28, 2008
