Life could’ve been really crappy for Eddie Murphy’s older, less photogenic brother. But Charlie Murphy’s exploits with Eddie back in the ’80s proved to be golden material when they became “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories” on Chappelle’s Show. Soon, he was known as “Charlie Murphaay!” or as “Darkness” whatever Chappelle’s version of Rick James decided to anoint Murphy (playing himself) each episode. Oh, yeah, Murphy is an actor and comedian who’s bringing his stand-up act to town today. But we just want to hear about what it was like to slam Dave Chappelle’s head against a bar.
