Dark Duets Launch Party

A stellar lineup of bestselling and award--winning writers will be on hand for the launch of the Dark Duets anthology, a collection of new horror and fantasy stories penned by duos who had never collaborated before. Charlaine Harris (of the Sookie Stackhouse series, seen above) and Rachel Caine (the Morganville Vampire series) paired up for Dark Witness, a short story about angels and demons. (The two will be in attendance at the party, along with anthology editor Christopher Golden and fellow contributors Joe R. Lansdale, Kasey Lansdale, David Liss and Rhodi Hawk.)

Dark Duets also features work by Sarah Mac-Lean and Carrie Ryan, who explored eternal love in She, Doomed Girl, while Sarah Rees Brennan, Cassandra Clare and Holly Black teamed up for Sisters Before Misters, the tale of a trio of weird magical sisters.
