Day for Night

Seeing the ever beautiful Jacqueline Bisset would be reason enough to watch Day for Night. But seeing her in the first film that she says ever used her properly, makes it required viewing. The movie chronicles the making of a French film, catching all the action in front of and behind the cameras. Bisset stars as a British actress recovering from a nervous breakdown. Valentina Cortese, who took home an armful of awards for her performance, plays an older, fading diva, while the legendary Francois Truffaut both directs and appears onscreen as the director. 8:30 p.m. Domy Books, 1709 Westheimer.
