Donnell Rawlings

Dave Chappelle may have pulled the plug on his brilliant sketch comedy show, but several members of his troupe are finding it good going on the road, including Donnell Rawlings. Best known for the catchphrase “I’m rich, biaaaaach!” as well as the recurring characters of ‘70s Jheri-curled Beautiful and Ashy Larry (whom Rawlings later developed into the classy Ashford Lawrence), Rawlings is decidedly un-P.C. He laments the inability to tell gay jokes without repercussion (“We’re gonna have to have a Straight Pride Parade one day”). Thankfully, he’s able to shut those non-P.C. tendencies off when he guest stars on television shows like Law & Order. We’re pretty sure “I’m rich, biaaaaach!” won’t play well during a serious trial scene. See Rawlings be completely inappropriate today at 8 and 10:30 p.m. and tomorrow, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
