The ever-passionate Chef g wants to take you on a Valentine's Day "Love Journey"; the price is $85 per person with steak or fish. Or you can sit down to a "Love Feast" of lobster, grilled squab or poussins for $125. Three seatings are available: 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. For reservations, call 713-522-5551.

Guerin's Cellar, the new French restaurant at Westheimer and Kirkwood (where Chez George used to be), has a prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner, with foie gras, salmon and fresh berries for $95 a person. For information, call 281-558-5095.

The Winner's Circle restaurant at the Sam Houston Racetrack is also a good bet. The Valentine's Day special is a four-course meal and a dessert of chocolate-dipped strawberries for $34.95 per person.
