Its no surprise that Aurora Picture Show has found success going after the smaller end of that spectrum with its extremely popular Extremely Shorts series, which screens teeny tiny films from around the world (each is three minutes or less). The latest installment coincides with the film houses ten-year anniversary, and to celebrate, theyll screen Extremely Shorts 11, packed with a curated collection of new films, throughout the weekend. Veteran juror and Village Voice film critic Ed Halter will be in attendance to offer his expert opinion, and following the screening on Sunday evening there will be a celebratory picnic (short films and beer, come on, you cant beat that). 800 Aurora.
