Fall for Dance

Slavery and human sex trafficking are pretty heavy themes, but that's what Steve Rooks, principal dancer with Martha Graham Dance Company, and Randall Flinn, of Ad Deum Dance Company, are up to in Redemption and Innocence Not Lost. Those are just two of the pieces on the program for Fall for Dance, an eclectic group of emotion-driven dance performances from Ad Deum Dance Company. Also on the program are Bill Wade's cirque-style Wondrous Beasts and Christiana Schanta's Permanence, about the hope of healing. Get emotional this afternoon at 3 p.m. Barnevelder Movement/Arts Complex, 2201 Preston. For information, call 713-626-5050 or visit www.danceaddeum.com. $15.
