New York and Los Angeles may have a lock on the fashion industry in America, but they do not have the monopoly on designers (or fashion staples for that matter). Texas has produced some of the most successful designers to date and, while some may have moved out of state, they are proud of their Texas roots.
Remember these name the next time you are window shopping in Neiman Marcus or browsing Nordstom.com.
