Fashionistas Crowd Crocker Bar for Premiere of Bravo's The Fashion Show

Last night in the small, tucked-away Crocker Bar in the Montrose area, some big names were out for the premiere of Bravo's The Fashion Show. Ro Tamez had a soiree to celebrate the show's first episode with close friends and a surprise visit from Cesar Galindo. Ro and Cesar both call Houston home and we couldn't be prouder of them. The winning team for the Iman-inspired design challenge included both Ro and Cesar with Cesar winning the best overall design. Cesar "couldn't be more thrilled with the first win...it sets the tone for the rest of the show."

Most people in Houston might know Cesar as the grand opening designer for Audi's Fashion Houston Week last month. But his CV includes designing for some big houses like Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana, and superstars such as Madonna, Mary J. Blige and Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. label. Ro's no shrinking violet either. Although he graduated a mere two years ago with a design-and-merchandising associates degree from Wade College, he's already established himself in Houston with his own fashion show and multiple covers for JMG Magazine.
