Fifth Element

Bruce Willis still had a little hair on his head when he made the 1990s flick Fifth Element. In it, Willis is Korben Dallas, a cab driver living in a futuristic world. He stumbles across a strange, beautiful woman (an orange-haired Milla Jovovich as Leeloo) who is the fifth element (there's wind, fire, earth, water and then the mysterious Leeloo). She's here to save the world, but only if Korben Dallas can save her first. A couple of high points in the film are comedian Chris Tucker as a flamboyant superstar DJ in a dress and a future-pop opera performed by a woman (?) with blue tentacles. 11:55 p.m. Friday and Saturday. River Oaks Theatre, 2009 West Gray. For information, call 713-866-8881 or visit www.landmarktheatre.com. $9.
