The play's set in Spain at the home of a disgraced government secretary. Several characters come to, and somehow end up staying at, the house. The production is in Spanish, with English surtitles above the stage. ''People who know just a little Spanish can attend and understand everything. And they don't have to complain about us speaking too fast; they can read along with us,'' she laughs.
