In It to Win It: Free Night Houston's Lottery Opens Next Week

Waiting for an Audience
More than 30 Houston arts organizations will open up some 3,000 seats to theater, dance and musical performances all over the city in October, all for free.

Naturally, there's a catch.

Interested potential patrons need to enter an online lottery to win one of the prized seats. The lottery opens September 9 and closes at midnight on September 23, according to a release.

The performances begin October 1 with Guys and Dolls at TUTS and Giselle at Houston Ballet. Other participating organizations include DiverseWorks Art Space, Dominic Walsh Dance Theater and Stages Repertory Theatre.
