Jacuzzi Movies

Watch a short film in your short shorts at Jacuzzi Movies. Andrea Grover, founder of Aurora Picture Show, is setting up a Jacuzzi on the back lawn of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston during a screening of Touched By Water, and a few lucky filmgoers will be able to take a dip while watching the film. “This program follows the tradition of thematic, collage-style, site-specific and social screenings that I created for Aurora Picture Show,” says Grover. The movie examines ancient and modern cultures’ spiritual and recreational connections to water. But for those who prefer to connect with water in their own backyard (or aren’t lucky enough to reserve a spot in the tub), no worries — everyone is invited to sit on the lawn. Just mind the splash zones. 6:30 p.m. 5216 Montrose. For information, call 713-284-8250 or visit www.camh.org. Free.
