“Monster Show 3”

There’s not a lot of thought behind Domy’s “Monster Show 3.” “It’s Halloween, people like to draw monsters — there’s really not much more to it,” says exhibit curator and Domy co-founder Russell Etchen. It might not be the deepest art show in town, but it is a cornucopia of creepiness that’s more fun than most (even in the weeks after October 31). There are cute, human-headed, deer-like monsters; skull-headed, horned-helmet-wearing, crabby creatures; and squiggly, red, lizard-like leviathans. See what happens when amateur and professional sketchers, painters, graphic artists, printmakers and others mash out the monsters in their heads. 1 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. Through December 5. 1709 Westheimer. For information, call 713-523-3669 or visit www.domystore.com. Free.
