Sure, to us Mario Lopez is that tall, dark and handsome guy on television, but to Houstonian Marissa Lopez-Wong, he's just her big brother. Together the pair have written the children's book Mud Tacos! The story follows a pair of kids named Mario and Marissa (what a coincidence!) having fun in their grandmother's backyard playing in the mud. But when their older cousin Chico comes along and starts to ruin their fun, Mario and Marissa figure out a way to set things straight with a little creativity and a few mud tacos. The authors will discuss their book and then lead a demonstration of mud taco making today from 3 to 4 p.m. Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney. For information, call 832-393-1313 or visit www.discoverygreen.com. Free.
