National Paintball League Super 7 World Series

Paintball games are not just a dignity-robbing exercise in teamwork anymore. You can see it in action today at the National Paintball League Super 7 World Series. The event features 150 five-person teams in seven rounds of multicolored-bullet-flying, capture-the-flag madness. Normally a seven-man team format, this NPPL series is a special contest open to amateurs looking to get their feet in the door (and be bombarded by paint pellets). At stake is a $2,250 prize. See which of these newbies can capture pro status, and meet the experts who know how to escape being painted into a corner from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.
