Pirates of Penzance

In the comedy Pirates of Penzance, Frederic was supposed to be a pilot. Garbled instructions put him on course to be a pirate instead. Enter the young and beautiful Mabel, exit all of Frederic's heroic plans. The operetta is one of the most loved works by the musical team Gilbert and Sullivan.
