Flashback Five Capcom Characters You Won't See in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
Up, Up: The original 1989 DuckTales for the NES is widely regarded as one of the greatest platformers of all time, rivaled only by Mario himself. This also makes it one of the best licensed games ever made, and that during a time when Capcom was putting out an unbroken string of excellent Disney properties as stiff competition to the title. In addition, despite the fame and success of Mega Man, it was actually Scrooge McDuck that reigned supreme as Capcom's best selling NES and Game Boy game of all time.
And then Capcom went ahead and redid the whole thing using 2.5D lush, beautiful artwork that puts even something like Donkey Kong Country Returns to shame. Not only is the game a treat for the eyes, the fast-paced, addiction gameplay has been ported perfectly so that you instantly fall back in love with the game, while first timers will have no problem getting in.
There's been some very pleasant additions to the game as well. Finding money unlocks concept art and the like, which keeps you interested in exploring more than the original did. To that end, they've also added a map featured that makes something as confusing as the original Transylvania level much more manageable. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better update of a classic.
