Talented Shaolin Warriors, daring Cossack riders, gravity-defying trapeze artists, clever clowns and brilliant acrobatic troupes do their best to lure a mythical beast from his lair during
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus: Dragons.
The show features several new show-stopping feats including a full twisting double bar-to-bar somersault by George Caceres, leader of The Flying Caceres, and ever more dangerous tricks by the Russian Bar Renegades, a group of circus athletes who flip, fly and somersault on an airborne bar just six inches wide. There are also the Teeterboard Titans, who astound audiences by wearing six-foot-tall stilts as they do perilous triple somersaults. Each group hopes to perform a trick so remarkable that the fire-breathing dragon will come out of his den to see more. Who can tempt the dragon from his cave? (We've got our money on The Flying Caceres, but you never know — Shaolin Warriors are pretty fierce competitors.)
Get there early and see the Asian elephants at Animal Open House and meet the show’s stars during an All Access Pre-show (included with paid admission). Times vary. Through July 28. Reliant Stadium, 2510 Westridge. For information, call 800-745-3000 or visit ringling.com. $17 to $125.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: July 11. Continues through July 28, 2013
