Romeo & Juliet

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Romeo & Juliet, part of the BroadwayHD presentation of New York theater productions via movie theaters. Romeo here is played by Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings, The Pirates of the Caribbean), and Juliet is played by Condola Rashad (Sex and the City, Smash). The show had a limited run on Broadway earlier this season, and while there were mixed reviews from the critics (yes, Bloom might be a little old to play the teenaged lover), fans were universal in their enthusiasm.

7 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. Monday. River Oaks Theatre, 2009 West Gray. For information, call 713-866-8881 or visit $20.
Thu., Feb. 13, 7 p.m.; Sun., Feb. 16, 11 a.m., 2014
