Shawn and Marlon Wayans

Though they spent years in the comedy shadows of older brothers Keenen and Damon, youngest siblings Shawn and Marlon Wayans (there’s ten Wayans siblings in all, if you’re keeping count) have stuck together as a duo, writing and performing on TV’s The Wayans Brothers and in films like Scary Movie, White Chicks, Little Man and Dance Flick. “We have a chemistry and a bond,” Shawn once told an interviewer for the Web site blacktree.tv. He went on to add, “Plus, we have the same representative.” The two brothers share the stage today at the Improv; expect zany characters, impersonations and situation-driven comedy. This is your chance to see Marlon before he has his hands full playing Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic (which doesn’t mean that White Chicks 2 is off the table). 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m. Sunday. 7620 Katy Freeway. For information, call 713-333-8800 or visit www.improvhouston.com. $35.
