“Shot in the Dark: Houston Press Concert Photo Exhibition”

Rocks Off, the Houston Press music blog, brings together a dozen of its concert photographers to show off their favorite images in the exhibit “Shot in the Dark: Houston Press Concert Photo Exhibition.” Pulling from the hundreds of photographs they’ve shot over the last three years, each of the 12 has selected a handful of images they think best represent their work.

Among the photographers is Jay Lee, who includes a spectacular portrait of guitarist Little Joe Washington at the Continental Club’s tenth anniversary party last July and a shot of KISS. Eric Sauseda, better known as Groovehouse, exhibits shots of Justin Bieber and Social Distortion, while Jody Perry adds photographs of Regina Spektor and Erykah Badu onstage and Marco Torres exhibits his shots of Jay-Z and Lupe Fiasco. Bring some cash and buy your favorite photograph right off the wall. 7 p.m. Warehouse Live, 813 St. Emanuel. For information, call 713-225-5483 or visit www.warehouselive.com. Free.
