Shot In The Dark: Music Photographers' Personal Wish Lists

Groovehouse (Eric Sauseda): Being a Beatles fan and with only two surviving members left, I'd love to have the opportunity to photograph Paul McCartney. I would love to capture him before he completely stops touring, but I probably missed that opportunity. I know he's performed a few times in the past couple of years but I am not sure if he's got another full tour in him.

Exhibiting: Justin Bieber, Ozzy Osbourne, Social Distortion, Blue October

Jody Perry: I would most definitely want to shoot Sade's concert coming up. She is on the top of the list of my favorites. I have a weakness for her lyrics, fluctuations, and the saxophones she has in the background. Her tours only come around every 5-10 years, it seems like. I have to add her to my collection of gorgeous female vocalists.

Exhibiting: Peaches, Crystal Castles, Erykah Badu, Regina Spektor

Marco Torres: The artist I would like to shoot is Carlos Santana. I remember listening to my dad's old, worn-out cassette tape of Santana's Greatest Hits when I was a kid. I was blown away by the emotion his music carried, and I was finally able to see him live for the first time on July 30th, 1999 in The Woodlands.

I've seen him in concert at least eight times, including at Madison Square Garden in 2005 and at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2009. I am traveling to Las Vegas on April 20 to see him perform at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He is one of my favorite artists, behind Jay-Z (who I have already shot), and in front of Los Tigres del Norte (also already shot).

Exhibiting: Jay-Z, Nas & Damien Marley, Lupe Fiasco, Bun B

Jason Wolter: It would have to be the Rolling Stones or Bruce Springsteen. It doesn't really get any bigger than that, right? Both are well-known for their live performances, and neither band would shy away from hamming it up for the camera. Also, let's face it... there are only so many more opportunities you're going to get to shoot either of these legends, so that alone would put them at the top of my list.

Exhibiting: Phosphorescent, Grandfather Child, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Drive-By Truckers

ALSO EXHIBITING

Craig Hlavaty: Billy F. Gibbons, Monotonix, Metallica, Homopolice

Jay Lee: Devo, Little Joe Washington, KISS, Fleetwood Mac

Matthew Keever/Kendra Berglund: Aaron Lewis, LIGHTS, The Shallows, CoRE

Larami Serrano: B L A C K I E, Snoop Dogg, Common, Preemo
