Shunya Theatre: Partition

Shunya Theatre, the only South Asian-American troupe in Houston, presents Ira Hauptman's drama Partition. Starring Taher Lokhandwala, John Kaiser and Anjana Menon, Partition chronicles the story of a young, self-taught mathematician who leaves India and travels to England to work with a Cambridge professor on a math problem in 1913. Based on actual events, Partition examines the ways in which these two men from very different cultures come together and then move apart through math. Sara Kumar directs; Bradley Winkler and Jeff Dorman complete the cast.
