Slideshow: Neopopstreetfunk's "Boarded Up" Surf/Skate Art Show

A wave of gallery goers crashed the Heights' M2 Gallery last weekend for "Boarded Up: The Art of Surf and Skate." Presented by Neopopstreetfunk, the show featured over 250 skateboard decks and surfboards painted by over 100 local and national artists. All proceeds benefited the Surfrider Foundation, a grassroots charity dedicated to the protection of the world's oceans and coastal ecosystems through conservation, activism, research and education. Local artists including Uncle Charlie, Ack! Sophia Buddenhagen and Patrick Medrano exhibited works in the show.
