Something Wicked: The 10 Best Halloween Costumes From Saturday

Whether or not electronic-music promoters Nightculture and Disco Donnie Presents always had Halloween in mind for the inaugural Something Wicked festival this past Saturday at Sam Houston Race Park, it couldn't have worked out any better.

The weather was perfect (if a little chilly once night fell), and some of EDM's leading artists from Modestep and Tritonal to Zedd and Feature Cuts gave everything they had. But the costumes were definitely the cherry on top of the day. An EDM festival in the wooded lot in the shadow of Sam Houston Race Park is already surreal enough; throw in thousands of people dressed in their Halloween finery, and the atmosphere was perfect. If anyone out there is still wondering where Waldo is, look no further.

The best moment of all was looking behind us and seeing two people dressed as deadmau5 (deadmi5e?) locked in a dance-off; the guy doing the robot won, as well he should have. But all these folks should win some kind of prize as well.

10. NURSES OF THE DAMNED

"Turn your head and cough, please."

9. SUPER MARIO BROTHERS?

Game not over.
