Most of us know stepping as performed in competitions and shows by black fraternities and sororities an explosive mix of synchronized kicks, stomps, dance steps and claps combined with chants and spoken-word elements. Think the Alphas meet Alvin Ailey. 8 p.m. Miller Outdoor Theatre, 6000 Hermann Park Drive. For information, call 281-373-3386 or visit www.milleroutdoortheatre.org. Free.
