The Divide

stars Michael Biehn, Lauren German and Rosanna Arquette: Xavier Gens directs.

Michael Biehn fans get ready to freak out -- we have some super swag to give away for The Divide...including a grand prize with a full-sized poster signed by Biehn and a four-pack of Anchor Bay horror DVDs. There are five other prizes as well, including special emergency rations and a 12-page graphic novel prelude to the film by Mondo Artist and James Flames.

We also have screening passes to Underworld Awakening in 3D and copies of the Underworld Trilogy DVD to give away.

A couple of housekeeping things first. You must live in the United States to be eligible for The Divide and Underworld DVD prizes. You must live in the Houston area for the Underworld screening passes -- because that's where the theaters are.

To enter the contests, just send an e-mail with the title of your choice of film prizes in the subject line to olivia.alvarez@houstonpress.com. You must include your full name and mailing address in the body of the e-mail. Do it soon, because we'll draw random winners on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
