We agree with our friends at local music blog theskyline.net — there is no way to categorize Houston experimental rockers Tambersauro. (Well, unless you count the “experimental rockers” tag.) The group goes from instrumental, rocking tunes to surreal, ambient lullabies with crooning vocals and oddly timed drums. But this trio knows their beats and measures; each song, regardless of genre, is timed better than a “casually late” party entrance. Call it what you want – just be sure to listen when they play today at Notsuoh. Also on the bill are North Carolina math rockers Calabai Yau and local pop rockers Hear You Me. 9 p.m. 314 Main. For information, visit www.myspace.com/notsuohmusic. $6.
