Interested in viewing the national trends up close and personal, hob-nobbing with the style experts from your favorite national fashion magazines, and participating in interactive style challenges in hopes of winning lots of Simon shopping center swag? Then you need to beeline it to The Galleria this Friday, September 9 for Lookbook Live, an omni channel event incorporating print, digital, and social media elements to give guests an all encompassing peek at the Fall trends from runway to reality.
Presented by Cadillac, Lookbook Live actually kicked off last month with the publication of Glamour and GQ's annual September issues. Nine pages of trends and an accompanying website that gave readers an in depth look at the Fall fashion. Readers were invited to compete for a $2,500 Simon shopping spree by posting their favorite Fall look using hashtag #foundatsimon - P.S. you can still enter now!
But back to Friday, which will begin at 5 p.m. with a panel discussion hosted by style experts from GQ and Glamour ready to teach guests how to incorporate this season's trends into your everyday wardrobe.
Shoppers can get interactive with 60 Style Challenge, a local blogger competition where shoppers decide who has the best styling chops, and the #FoundAtSimon Challenge where a handful of lucky guests will become the stylists for a final presentation closing out the evening.
Once you add in the multiple contests, giveaways, the Live Lounge, with its grooming stations, a selfie booth, and his-and-hers style consultants, and individual in-store parties, this looks to be one of this year's premier Fall events and a perfect jump start to Fashion Week season.
