The Great American Trailer Park Musical

Given the popularity of Honey Boo Boo, we have to agree with Standing Room Only Production Company's Executive Director, Wayne Landon, who says, ''There is a little 'trailer folk' in all of us.'' The group is presenting The Great American Trailer Park Musical, ''a laugh-a-minute comedy and spoof'' that follows several residents of the Armadillo Acres Trailer Park. There's Norbert; his wife, Jeannie; and his girlfriend, Pippi. (Even by trailer park rules, that's one too many women in his life.) Landon promises the musical comedy is so uproarious, audiences will ''either fall out of their seat or their jaws will ache'' from laughing.

Along with lots of over-the-top comedy in David Nehls and Betsy Kelso's venerable summer saw, audiences will also ''find those moments (and many of them) when they can relate to the goings-on in their own life,'' Landon says. ''[Television viewers] had our first glimpse at this type of humor and introspection when we sat down every week to watch All in the Family.'' (Note to self: Start LGBT RV travel group. Call it Mobile Homos.)
