The Illuminations Project

Some of Houston’s best dance troupes come together in The Illuminations Project to commemorate World AIDS Day. Today’s program includes performances by the Houston Ballet, Hope Stone and Houston’s Flyboys, Shawn Welling’s Planet Funk and the Lone Star Lariats, among others. They’ll perform everything from classical ballet to country and western, jazz to hip-hop, all in support of people with AIDS. The Illuminations Project starts at 7:30 p.m. Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, Zilkha Hall, 800 Bagby.
