Last January’s fires in Los Angeles were just the latest example of a natural disaster or crisis straining the nation’s blood supplies. Fortunately, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has always been at the forefront of staying ahead of the demand.
And this time, you can get free stuff.
This Saturday, from 1:30-5:30 p.m.at the Edwards Marq+E 23 on I-10 and Silber, the Center will have a donor coach on site to take your donations. And not only will you be helping restock the blood supply, you’ll also receive:
+ a movie poster
+ a ticket to Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures
+ a beverage tumbler
+ a free A1C screening
One of those isn’t as fun as the others, but come on.
