We’re Going to Eat You (Di Yu Wu Men)

The makers of We’re Going to Eat You were too busy cramming freakin’ awesomeness into the movie to worry about a plot. The multigenre flick features cannibals, ass-kicking, secret agents and covert missions. Could you ask for more? Yes, and you’d get it because it also includes a desert island full of giant man-ladies, corrupt cops and (gasp!) vegetarians.

The movie tells — in the loosest sense of the word — the story of Secret Agent 999, who is on a quest to stop the evil thief Rolex from stealing, well, watches. See what we mean? But never fear, this action-packed Hong Kong film (whose original title is Di Yu Wu Men) will keep your mouth too busy saying “OMG, that was freakin’ awesome” to yawn. 8:30 p.m. Domy, 1709 Westheimer.
