Where's It Hanging?

Summer's winding down and so is the Houston Center for Photography's group show "SPIN 6: Spin on Summer." The exhibit, which takes summer as its theme, garnered a slew of responses, including the multi-colored seahorse shown above, taken by Maria Elena. The exhibit closes this Friday with a swank party that includes live music, a variety of adult beverages and munchies. Bring your own summer pictures and they'll be added to the exhibit (then you can brag your work's been shown at HCP). The closing party is 8 to 11 p.m. August 27. Until then, regular viewing hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. 1441 West Alabama. For information, call 713-529-4774 or visit www.hcponline.org. $15.
