The annual Immanuel & Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival will bring 80 music students to the University of Houston for three weeks of rehearsals, private lessons and master classes by day and a multitude of concerts - many of them free to the public - by night.

Kinetic Ensemble will close its season with Beyond the Sanctuary Walls, which features the world premiere of the program’s title work as well as works by Clara Schumann and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. on May 26 at the MATCH.

The Energy Corridor of Houston Orchestra, aka ECHO, will close out its ninth season with Academic Festival, featuring music from some of the most brilliant classical, romantic and baroque composers. What’s more, up-and-coming orchestral talent will join for part of the performance. The show takes places at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.

Apollo Chamber Players will wrap up its 15th year anniversary with We Will Sing One Song at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Rice University’s Stude Hall.
