Best Art Gallery: William Reaves | Sarah Foltz Fine Art
Texas never looked so good than through the eyes of regional artists in and around the Lone Star State. William Reaves | Sarah Foltz Fine Art has been nurturing and supporting contemporary local artists, while also preserving the legacy and provenance of early Texas art, the Houston-based founders of modernism and Texas modernists.

Ask one of the gallerists about a painting and you'll soon be immersed in a colorful narrative about that artist's early influences, education and name-dropping connections. Their knowledge runs deep and they'll use that background to write essays for each exhibit, adding meaning for the viewers while also building value for collectors. Founder William Reaves and President Sarah Foltz have always given back to the community, hosting gallery talks, trips, events and through their support of scholarly research.
(A tip of the hat to the late Henri Gadbois who died in October 2018. The artist was a friend to the gallery, one of Houston's Founding Modernists, a longtime educator and husband to painter Leila McConnell.)
