Giant turkey legs. Beautiful costumes. Jousting. Giant turkey legs. Merrie music and dancing. Falconers. Giant turkey legs.
In case you haven't figured it out yet, we're gearing up for the Texas Renaissance Festival, the nation's largest Ren fair, which runs for eight weekends starting October 8 in a 55-acre "village" on FM 1774 between Magnolia and Plantersville. It's the 37th year of the festival, and with themes like Roman Bacchanal and Oktoberfest, there's sure to be an abundance of sights, sounds and giant turkey legs each weekend. There are also more than 200 performances daily and more than 300 vendors, all offering up period entertainment and wares, if mega-meat isn't really your thing.
And with today's Voice Daily Deal, you can get to Newmarket Village for less than half the regular admission price. We're selling adult tickets, usually valued at $25, for $12 each. And you should probably hurry; last we checked, almost 600 vouchers had been sold.
To purchase a voucher, visit the daily deal page here and follow the instructions. You'll be wading through giant turkey legs in no time.
