I took a stroll through one of our friendly neighborhood malls this past weekend - something I don't do very often since I'm addicted to indie boutiques - and felt like I had been transported 20 years in the past. The H&M looked like the wardrobe trailer from the first season of Friends and floral reigned supreme. I knew '90s was trending, but had no idea how hard people were rocking the look.
I used to laugh at my mom and aunts when they would lament that everything they wore in high school was back in style as they peered into my closet. "You guys are so old...ha," I would say, reveling in my youth. Now, the sartorial chickens have come home to roost.
The '90s are back in a big way and the styles are perfect for this summer's festival season. Here are a few of my faves.
Overalls The '90s classic has made a comeback no one expected.
