Foodie Houston: With all the new food trucks in town, there's plenty of street eats to go around these days. Jodie checks out one of the newest -- Eatsie Boys -- that's usually found at farmers' markets like Eastside, City Hall and Discovery Green. But this truck has some serious street cred: Chef Matt Marcus is a Michelin-trained chef.

H-Town Chow Down: Okay, so Houston isn't going to be next recipient of a Dough Pizzeria, the pizza spot in San Antonio renowned for its Naples-crafted wood burning oven; that honor has officially gone to Dallas. But we're not doing so bad on our own, as Albert reports on a new, non-chain pizza restaurant in The Woodlands -- Crust Pizza Co. -- that's attempting to up the pizza ante.

The Daily Meal: The national food website, which is as fond of lists as we are, has released its annual list of America's 50 Most Powerful People in Food. Although I think the number one spot is a cop-out, the list of influencers is pretty interesting -- and not entirely composed of food personalities or chefs, either.

Homesick Texan: Want some great boudin, but don't want to make the trip out to Pyburn's to get it? Lisa has a surefire recipe for spicy Cajun boudin you can make yourself at home. And you don't even have to stuff it in a casing if you don't want to.
