In a move that shouldn't surprise anyone, especially in the wake of the Tupac Shakur "hologram" at Coachella, the surviving members of '90s R&B group TLC are looking into a 2012 tour -- with help from the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.

Yes, Lopes died in an April 2002 car accident in Honduras. Her loss stung the music industry and fans who grew up with the group, best known for albums like Ooh... On the TLC Tip!, CrazySexyCool and Fanmail.

Could this be the beginning of a period of dead musicians' likenesses being revived for live concerts? In the days after Coachella, it was a hot topic of discussion, with opinion split over whether this was ghoulish, fun or offensive.

For now the 20th-anniversary TLC tour isn't set in stone, but more news should be coming shortly. It's possible the remaining TLC gals, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, may just perform with Lopes's recordings attached.
