Hannah Montana might've whooped the previous record for rodeo ticket sales, but some technical difficulties prevented more than a few fans from hearing the, um, whatever you call the music produced by Hannah Montana.
Says a rodeo release:
Officials have determined that the sound failure was due to an electrical installation error which occurred during the original construction of Reliant Stadium. There was no failure in the equipment installed by contractors for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This failure could have occurred at any Reliant Stadium event.Um, yeah, you're keeping quiet. We get it. Now where's our freakin' money?
"The Show sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience that occurred during this sound failure," said Leroy Shafer, chief operating officer of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. "We greatly appreciate our loyal and faithful patrons. It is unfortunate that the failure occurred during this incredible performance by such talented young entertainers. Currently, we have electricians and technicians evaluating critical electrical areas to ensure that no additional failures will occur."
After the jump, the who, what and where on getting your money back...
Sections of Reliant Stadium that were affected by the sound failure include 118-135, 325-350, 523-545 and 624-645. Ticket holders in these areas are eligible for the refund.
