New Year's Eve is coming up, and that means local law enforcement agencies are putting out tons of press releases warning drivers about DWI.

Harris and Montgomery counties, two of the more aggressive players in that game, scored a jackpot today with a segment on NBC's Today show.

The piece featured a Houston cop pulling over a (barely dressed) female on suspicion of DWI, and when she refused a breathlayzer -- wham! It's No Refusal time.

The reporter talked to Montgomery County assistant DA Warren Diepraam about the process, and we saw a bored judge rubber-stamping a search-warrant request for a blood test.

The rest of the country should follow the local policy and implement such procedures, was clearly the tone of the piece.

So remember: Don't drink and drive.
